Cheryl received her Post Masters Adult Nurse Practitioner Degree from Florida Atlantic University in 1996. Ms. Grumbach is ANA/ANCC Board Certified and has a Coronary Care Certification that she has held since 1983. Cheryl is one of our key speakers for the Community Heart Health Program. Through this program, Cheryl speaks to various groups in the community promoting heart health, education and information on living a heart healthy lifestyle.

Cheryl is married and has a daughter. Her passions are world travel, wildlife, old world artifacts and a strong love of life and family.  

Our Nursing Department strives to assist each patient as needed on a day-to-day basis by providing support to both the physician and the patient. Not only is the staff available during office hours to answer any questions/concerns a patient may have regarding their medications or lab results, we also offer a 24 hour on-call nurse to help with any emergent questions or concerns.

Stuart Cardiology Medical Assistants are your contact prior to seeing the physician. This team will provide all necessary information to the physician to make your visit as productive as possible. They will take your weight, blood pressure, review your current medications, as well as check to see if there have been any changes in your medical history (i.e.a new primary care provider or any recent visits to the hospital). The Medical Assistant will also assist you with any medication prescriptions that may be needed.

Whether you are here for a Nuclear Stress Test, Echocardiogram, Echo, Vascular Study, Pacer Check or Muga, you will be bound to come into contact with one of these highly trained technologists. Each of our staff members hold degrees/certificates in the field in which they specialize.

We are proud to hold accreditation in both our Nuclear and Echo Labs. This accreditation must be renewed on an annual basis holding us to the same high standards we hold ourselves.

This team of professionals will: transfer your call to the appropriate department, schedule you with your physician or for your test, greet you upon arrival to our office and after your visit make sure you have all necessary appointments, labs and/or referrals needed. Information this team will repeatedly ask you will be your current insurance, secondary insurance and contact information such as your address and phone.

Stuart Cardiology Group works with you, the patient, to process your medical claims correctly. We will review your insurance prior to your appointment in order to obtain any necessary authorizations. This department will also advise you of any payments that may be due and, if necessary, work out a payment plan over a four month period.
